Yellow, Like Ripened Grain Spikes: The Soul and Idea of BREADWAY

Development of corporate style, design, business cards, logo, website layout, and social media pages for the brand BREADWAY.

Ukraine has long been associated with the agricultural industry, and the yellow-blue color of the flag showcases our two key symbols – fields of ripe spikes and the free blue sky.

One of the conceptual implementers of this symbolism is the company BREADWAY, which is engaged in land cultivation, grain crop cultivation, and their distribution. Accordingly, we developed a corporate style specifically for them, reflecting the value of grain and awakening the brightest images associated with fragrant homemade bread, tranquility, and vitality in the audience.

Brief about the Client

The BREADWAY brand is a Ukrainian agricultural enterprise involved in cultivating and harvesting grain crops, logistics of harvests, and innovation implementation in the grain processing segment. It actively collaborates with agricultural producers and plans to expand its activities to direct processing of raw materials into groceries and baking.

Until recently, namely before starting cooperation with AGRO Marketing Agency, the brand did not have its own identity that could convey the value and vision to the target audience. The development of the visual part of the branding became the subject of our cooperation.

The goal of the collaboration was to form a brand style and provide an available, vibrant presentation of BREADWAY's values, including:

  • Development of business logo.

  • Formation of corporate style in the yellow-orange palette.

  • Creation of business card designs for the company.

  • Design of website and social media pages.

  • Generation of impactful slogans for the brand.

  • Design of product labeling, packaging, documents.

The result was intended to be a ready corporate style that would convey the mission and values of the brand to the audience. At the same time, it would deliver the key slogan of BREADWAY "Life Sprouts from Grain".

Implementation of Ideas

The project was implemented over approximately three months, including active communication with the client's team. We were so immersed in the idea that we couldn't just take and deliver the work. On the contrary, we made every effort to create for BREADWAY an identity that would focus on the minds of potential clients.

Specifically, we did the following

  • Experimented with colors to visualize the optimally ripe spike

  • Implemented several different forms and concepts of the logo to make it: Perfect; Recognizable; Convenient for product labeling, content, business cards, etc.

  • Conducted research to properly form triggers that would attract the audience's attention.

Dozens of hours of work, several design options and slogans, hours of discussion and analysis led to the result – the corporate style that is currently actively used by the company BREADWAY.

Results

Ultimately, the BREADWAY brand became the proud owner of a modern and recognizable corporate style that successfully emphasizes its value, vision, and mission. The visual part – the logo and the overall color scheme – forms bright images of a sunny summer day among wheat fields in the audience's mind, where the rustle of ripe, life-filled spikes resonates with the gentle whisper of the wind, and the scent of grain awakens thoughts of fragrant homemade bread just coming out of the oven.

Overall, the style fulfills its main task, effectively presenting the brand to the public. Continuing the collaboration involved forming a marketing strategy, website design, and development, and preparing a communication strategy. We'll tell you more about this later
